Guidelines for environmental work
EcoVadis
We have chosen EcoVadis as the platform to declare our sustainability performance. We aim to continuously improve our sustainability performance towards our customers, within our organisation and towards our supply chain. We are proud of our achieved Gold status with Ecovadis.
Personnel
Increase our employees' knowledge of environmental issues and motivate them to act in an environmentally conscious manner.
We encourage employees to report circumstances that may be in conflict with the Group's Code of Conduct to their manager or supervisor. If for any reason the employee cannot go to them, the Group's anonymous whistleblowing procedure should be followed, which can be found at www.addtech.se/whistleblower
Suppliers
We will liaise with our suppliers to influence them to develop environmentally sound products and packaging. We will encourage our suppliers' environmental work and require all suppliers to have an environmental policy. Our suppliers have signed our and the Group's Supplier Code of Conduct. In addition, our largest suppliers have undergone our developed sustainability audit via the Kodiak portal.
Customers
By increasing sales of products for environmental analysis and process control, we can actively contribute to reduced emissions and thus a better environment.
We try to influence our customers' purchasing behaviour so that they plan their purchases in a way that leads to fewer deliveries. In this way, we can help reduce energy consumption, exhaust emissions and the use of packaging materials.
Transport/travel
An obvious goal for us is to minimise the number of transports and trips. When choosing modes of transport, we must take environmental aspects into account. Coordination of deliveries, changes in purchasing patterns, increased use of teleconferencing/videoconferencing are examples of measures we use.
Recycling of electrical and electronic equipment
At OmniProcess, we follow the legal requirements for the collection and recycling of batteries. Batteries supplied with our products are designed to meet the highest standards of safety and durability. We encourage our customers to bring used batteries to recycling centres to ensure proper handling and reduce environmental impact.
Packaging
OmniProcess takes responsibility for the environment by ensuring that our packaging is handled according to current legislation and environmental requirements. We work actively with recycling and encourage our customers to reuse or recycle packaging in an environmentally friendly way. By continuously optimising our packaging solutions, we help to minimise the environmental impact of our operations.
Waste sorting/disposables
We actively strive to minimise the use of disposable items in the company. The waste generated by the business is sorted at source.
Purchasing
When purchasing, we should preferably choose eco-labelled or environmentally sound products.
Reducing paper use is an obvious goal for us. Reducing the use of internal paper lists, switching to e-mail, postal e-letters and EDI are some ways to reduce paper consumption.
Energy
We will work to minimise our energy consumption and choose environmentally sound energy sources.
the environment - the most important thing we have
OmniProcess is a purely commercial company without its own production. Our operations therefore have little direct environmental impact. However, we have a great opportunity to improve the environment by influencing and collaborating with our suppliers and customers. We work to influence the environmental performance of both our suppliers and customers. New suppliers are screened and evaluated from an environmental perspective before being accepted.
Our range includes products for process and environmental analysis, which naturally creates a high level of awareness of environmental issues among our staff. Regular contacts with demanding customers help to ensure that we are continuously aware of environmental issues.
Environmental policy
Responsibility and follow-up
The ultimate responsibility for the company's environmental work lies with the CEO. Each employee is responsible for ensuring that the company's environmental guidelines are applied in their daily work.
The environmental policy is revised annually and the measures and objectives adopted are followed up. This is reported in the company's financial statements.
We are affiliated to the following collection and recycling schemes:
- NPA for the collection and recycling of packaging
- The electrical circuit for the collection and recycling of electronics
- Battery collection for the collection and recycling of batteries
Holistic approach
The EU is conducting extensive environmental work with directives, regulations and ongoing investigations. The company believes that all Swedish measures should be harmonised with this work and that special Swedish solutions should be avoided. It is the overall effect on the environment that is most important. We support the holistic approach that underpins Swedish environmental legislation.
Actions should be:
- environmentally desirable
- technically possible
- economically reasonable
Of course, the company complies with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.

OmniProcess should be associated with quality
Products from leading suppliers
Quality is the concern of all employees
Every OmniProcess employee is responsible for ensuring that their work is done correctly. We all have an obligation to get involved by actively participating in quality improvement efforts. It is our duty to question, it is our right to get answers. Together we improve our quality system.
Quality is achieved through continuous improvement
Continuous improvement means having quality at the centre of everything we do. It means trying to anticipate errors and avoid risks of error. It means striving for 'zero defects', 'getting it right from the start', and trying to find and fix the defects that do occur as early as possible. We measure, set targets, follow up and improve.
Errors should be abnormal
Every error should be seen as something abnormal, something that must not be repeated. Preventive work and focusing on quality will not eliminate all errors. We all make mistakes from time to time, and measures must always be taken to ensure that the error does not occur again!
The quality system is the basis of our business
Our quality system regulates how the quality of our operations and products is to be ensured. Systematics, order and tidiness are the cornerstones, fulfilment of regulatory requirements is a prerequisite and fulfilment of customer satisfaction is the goal.
