OmniPurge is a purge panel designed for safe and centralized control of purge gas flow to insertion tubes<\/strong><\/a> and, in some cases, laser modules. The panel is used to protect gas analysis instruments and ensure stable operation, with configurations available <\/span>with or without alarm functionality<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The incoming gas is typically N\u2082 (nitrogen)<\/strong> for oxygen measurement, and CO-free instrument air<\/strong> for CO measurement. As a rule of thumb, the purge gas flow should be approximately 1:10 of the process flow rate<\/strong>, for example, a process flow velocity of 10 m\/s requires approximately 1 l\/min of purge gas to both the receiver and transmitter. Special solutions for reduced purge gas consumption are available depending on the application.<\/p>\n
