The EMCO throttling box is used as a primary element for flow measurement of liquids, gases and vapour based on the differential pressure principle. According to this working principle, the throttling box creates a flow restriction in the pipeline, which allows measuring the resulting pressure drop and flow rate.
The Orifice Plate Series MEF is designed with a single pressure tapping port for mounting between flanges.
