The EMCO throttling element MEF/2 is used as a primary element in flow measurement of liquid, gas and vapour applications based on the differential pressure principle. According to this working principle, the throttling element creates a flow restriction in the pipeline to enable measurement of the resulting pressure drop and flow rate.
Strypelement MEF/2 is designed with a single pressure outlet for insertion between ring type joints (RTJ flanges).
