Conductivity meter

Conductivity meters are essential for monitoring and optimising processes in a wide range of industries, including water treatment, chemistry and food production. Our solutions offer high precision and robust design to handle both clean and contaminated liquids. By measuring the fluid's ability to conduct electricity, our conductivity instruments can help monitor the concentration of dissolved salts, identify contaminants and ensure processes adhere to strict quality requirements. Our products are reliable, easy to use and can be adapted to different process conditions for maximum flexibility and accuracy.

What is a conductivity meter

A conductivity meter is an instrument used to measure the electrical conductivity of a solution, which can provide information on the concentration of dissolved salts or minerals. Conductivity is directly related to the amount of ions in a liquid, so the meter can be used to monitor water quality, mixtures in the chemical and food industries, and to ensure the correct concentration in various industrial processes.

To measure conductivity, a conductivity probe is used, usually consisting of two electrodes that send an electric current through the liquid. The resistance to the current flow is calculated, giving a value for the conductivity, usually expressed in microsiemens per centimetre (µS/cm).
