OmniProcess AB was formed in June 2002 through the merger of Kontram AB and Bergman & Beving Process. Our intention with the acquisition of Kontram AB and the formation of OmniProcess is to give us the opportunity to grow further by adding the resources that have brought the group to a leading position in technology trading in the Nordic region.
On 1 March 2008, we expanded our product range, particularly in flow meters, by acquiring the business of SEG Process AB.
Kontram - part of OmniProcess
Kontram was founded in Finland in the mid-60s. The first step into Sweden was taken in 1986 when it acquired Essholm Instrument AB. Through the acquisition of the two companies M3-Nivå & Flöde and Conrad Ekengren, Kontram has developed into one of the leading suppliers of measuring and analysing instruments on the Swedish market. A major step in this development was taken in 1996 when Yokogawa chose Kontram as its supplier in Sweden. With its broad programme and world-leading position, Yokogawa has given us a strong position in the Swedish market.
In January 1998 we moved to new premises in Solna. Addtech Group bought the Swedish company Kontram AB in September 2001.
On 1 April 2005, Addtech AB acquired the Bergman & Beving Meditech business area from Bergman & Beving and renamed it Addtech Life Science.
Bergman & Beving process - part of OmniProcess
Process analysis has been one of the core activities of the group since the 1960s. Backed by the two well-known suppliers Kemotron and K-Patents and a deep knowledge of applications in the process industry, Bergman & Beving Process became a leading supplier of process analysis products to the Pulp and Paper, Food and Energy industries. In June 2002, Bergman & Beving Process merged with Kontram.
SEG Process - part of OmniProcess
SEG Process was founded in 1977 by Alf Fluur. Since its inception, the company has been focused on flow measurement. The main suppliers have been Bronkhorst HIGH-TECH and its subsidiary M-W Instruments for most of the time. These two companies develop and manufacture mass flow meters and mass flow controllers.
In March 2008, Magnus Fluur and Mikael Lehmann moved to our premises in Solna.
