The Thermo Scientific™ 43iQ Trace Level SO₂ Analyzer is part of the iQ series of gas analysers, designed to get smarter over time and minimise troubleshooting time through a high-precision solution. The analyser uses pulsed fluorescence technology to measure the amount of sulphur dioxide in the air down to 0.05 ppb. The pulsed UV source increases the optical intensity, resulting in higher UV energy and lower detectable SO₂ concentrations. Reflective bandpass filters, compared to regular transmission filters, are less prone to photochemical degradation and more selective in wavelength isolation, leading to increased detection specificity and long-term stability.
