The Kemtrak DCP007-UV is designed to deliver accurate measurements of light absorbing substances in liquids and gases by using a modulated high performance UV LED light source with precision fibre optics. This technology minimises the exposure of the sample to harmful UV radiation and heat, which is common in traditional UV photometers with mercury lamps. The instrument uses a proprietary dual-wavelength four-channel measurement technology and advanced digital electronics to enable deep absorbance measurements up to 5 AU. Automatic compensation for sample turbidity and/or coating on the optical windows ensures trouble-free operation.
Features & benefits
- Real-time measurement: Provides instant monitoring of chemical concentrations and colour in the process.
- Ultra low power UV analyser: Reduces the risk of sample degradation and formation of hazardous by-products.
- High performance UV LED light source: Ensures drift- and noise-free measurements with high precision.
- Maintenance-free measuring cells and fibre optics: No electrical components or moving parts in the measuring cells, reducing maintenance needs.
- Deep absorbance measurements: Measures up to 5 AU (1 cm optical path length), with the possibility of deeper absorbance measurements with shorter path lengths.
- Long-life UV LED light source: Easy to replace when needed.
- Flexible outputs: Analogue outputs (0/4-20 mA) and Modbus (slave) over TCP/IP and optional Profibus.
- User-friendly interface: Local and web-based graphical user interface (TCP/IP) for easy configuration and monitoring.
- Safe for hazardous areas: ATEX Exd IIB + H2 T6 IP66 Category II 2 G (optional) for use in explosive atmospheres.
