Description of the programme

The EMCO tracer is used as a primary element in flow measurement of liquid, gas and vapour applications based on the differential pressure principle. According to this working principle, the tracer creates a flow restriction in the pipeline to allow measurement of the resulting pressure drop and flow rate.

The MEF/2 series is designed with a single push-in socket for insertion between ring type joints (RTJ flanges).

At least 15° apart, depending on size and pressure rating

Square edge concentric as standard. See above illustrations for other shapes

Labelling

The trace ring is labelled with "+" and "-" and the direction of flow.

Pressure drop

Depending on β, for β equal to 0.6: approx. 60 % of the measured differential pressure

Accessories

Shut-off valves and condensing chamber for vapour flow measurement. Flange assembly complete with bolts, nuts and gaskets
