OmniPurge is a purge panel designed for safe and centralized control of purge gas flow to insertion tubes and, in some cases, laser modules. The panel is used to protect gas analysis instruments and ensure stable operation, with configurations available with or without alarm functionality.
The incoming gas is typically N₂ (nitrogen) for oxygen measurement, and CO-free instrument air for CO measurement. As a rule of thumb, the purge gas flow should be approximately 1:10 of the process flow rate, for example, a process flow velocity of 10 m/s requires approximately 1 l/min of purge gas to both the receiver and transmitter. Special solutions for reduced purge gas consumption are available depending on the application.
The panel features a 12 mm compression fitting connection from the right-hand side and is supplied with a 6 mm validation tube connection from the left-hand side included.
